We are on the lookout for a skilled Hospitality Manager to lead our team at our bustling hotel in Durban. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day operations, ensuring outstanding guest experiences and operational efficiency. Strong leadership and exceptional communication skills are essential for this role.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
  • Handle guest complaints and provide solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the sales and marketing team to implement promotional campaigns.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the hotel premises.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Master's degree is a plus
  • Customer Service Excellence Proven ability to enhance guest satisfaction through outstanding service.
  • Financial Management Strong skills in managing budgets and financial reporting.
  • Staff Management Experienced in leading and motivating a diverse team.
  • Operational Efficiency Expertise in improving processes and operational performance.
  • Leadership Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development.
  • Communication Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Problem-solving Adept at identifying issues and providing effective solutions.
  • Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA)
  • English (Fluent)
  • Afrikaans (Conversational)

  • Multilingual skills: Ability to communicate in multiple languages is advantageous.
