As a Surgical Technologist, you will assist surgeons and medical professionals in the operating room. You will ensure the operating environment is safe and sterile, prep for surgeries, and provide vital support during procedures.
Responsibilities
Prepare surgical instruments and supplies for surgical procedures.
Assist the surgical team by providing necessary tools and equipment during operations.
Ensure the cleanliness and sterility of the operating environment.
Monitor and maintain inventory of surgical supplies.
Follow all safety protocols to minimize risk and ensure patient safety.
Document all surgical procedures accurately for medical records.
Participate in training and mentorship programs to enhance skills.

Requirements
Education
Diploma in Surgical Technology or equivalent
Certification from the NBSTSA
Registration with HPCSA is required
Experience
2-5 years of experience in a surgical environment
