Job Description

As a Warehouse Manager in Port Elizabeth, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse. This role involves managing stock levels, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and leading a team to improve efficiencies in the warehouse processes. Your leadership will play a key role in optimizing our logistics operations while maintaining high standards of performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire warehousing process from receipt to dispatch.
• Develop strategies to reduce operational costs.
• Enhance team performance through coaching and feedback.
• Coordinate inventory audits and stock takes.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained.
• Lead safety training and compliance audits.
• Manage customer orders and ensure accuracy.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts for the operation.
• Implement sustainable practices in warehousing.
• Evaluate and negotiate contracts with service providers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field

Experience

• Proven experience in warehousing operations and management
