Job Description

Our Pretoria office is seeking an experienced actuary to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical analysis and a track record of implementing effective risk management solutions. As part of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for developing mathematical models to assess risks and advising clients on their implications.

Responsibilities

• Create forecasts and provide insights based on quantitative analysis.
• Evaluate and advise on the impact of changes in policy and market trends.
• Support risk management initiatives across the organization.
• Prepare actuarial valuations and contribute to annual reports.
• Utilize predictive analytics to enhance decision-making processes.
• Engage with clients to better understand their needs and tailor solutions to their requirements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or a relevant field
• Master's degree in Statistics or Mathematics is preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of actuarial experience

• Advanced Excel

Certifications

• Certified Actuarial Scientist
• Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA)

Languages
