Job Description

As a Warehouse Manager with Logistics Solutions Co., you will be at the helm of our warehouse operations in Johannesburg. Your role will involve overseeing inventory management, ensuring operational excellence, and leading your team to ensure high standards are achieved in all aspects of logistics management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of warehouse operations.
• Prepare and maintain inventory records and reports.
• Train and develop warehouse staff for productivity improvement.
• Implement best practices for inventory management and logistics.
• Coordinate with transport providers to ensure efficient delivery.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety standards.
• Evaluate and improve warehouse layouts and workflows.
• Lead efforts in warehouse optimization projects.
• Provide analytical insights to improve warehouse operations.
• Build relationships with suppliers and customers to support operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive experience in warehouse management

Technical Skills

• Lean Management
• Data Analysis

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• Certified Logistics Associate (CLA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: Advanced skills in Excel for reporting and data analysis.
• Familiarity with ERP Systems: Experience with enterprise resource planning systems to manage warehouse processes.
