Pharmacist

Job Description

As a Pharmacist, you'll play a vital role in patient care by ensuring safe and effective medication use. Your expertise will guide patients through medication therapies, answering queries, and supporting health objectives.

Responsibilities

• Verify and dispenses medication orders on a daily basis.
• Train and support junior pharmacy staff.
• Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy documentation.
• Participate in clinical meetings to discuss patient care plans.
• Report any adverse drug reactions to appropriate authorities.
• Implement strategies to enhance pharmacy services.
• Promote safe and effective use of medicines.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
• Specialization in clinical pharmacy is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant pharmacy experience

Certifications

• Additional certification in immunizations

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
