Responsibilities

• Generate detailed drawings using CAD software to communicate design intent.
• Perform risk assessments to identify potential issues in design and construction.
• Collaborate with sustainability teams to integrate green building practices into designs.
• Stay updated on advancements in structural engineering technologies and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of design experience in a reputable firm

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis

Certifications

• Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) registration

Languages

• English: Fluent
