Cybersecurity Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Cybersecurity Consultant to join our passionate team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, and will be responsible for assessing and improving our clients' security posture through risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and the application of best practices. Responsibilities

• Perform security audits to assess the effectiveness of security measures.
• Implement measures to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access.
• Assist clients in developing incident response strategies.
• Review and analyze security breaches or incidents and report findings.
• Work with vendors to deploy security solutions and tools.
• Develop policies for data protection and privacy.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the security program.
• Engage in threat intelligence gathering and analysis.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity or similar field
• Relevant industry certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity consulting or similar roles

Certifications

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• GIAC Security Expert (GSE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
