Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Non-Profit Program Manager to lead various community development initiatives in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for social change, and a proven track record in program management. You will be responsible for coordinating projects, securing funding, and engaging with stakeholders to ensure the success of our initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the execution and assessment of community programs.
  • Build partnerships with local businesses and agencies to enhance program reach.
  • Ensure that programs meet community needs and organizational standards.
  • Craft comprehensive reports for stakeholders and funders.
  • Identify potential funding sources and develop fundraising strategies.
  • Coordinate training and development for program staff.
  • Promote program successes through media and community events.
  • Ensure all activities align with the mission and vision of Community Builders.
  • Utilize feedback to innovate and refine program offerings.
  • Create a positive, inclusive program culture that encourages community participation.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Master's degree in Social Work or Non-Profit Management is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of management experience in the non-profit sector
