Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our vibrant team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support to individuals and families in need, offering counseling, and connecting them with necessary resources in the community.

Responsibilities

• Conduct home visits to assess clients’ environments and support systems.
• Provide case management services to help clients navigate social service systems.
• Develop partnerships with local agencies to expand service access.
• Research and stay updated on community resources and best practices in social work.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
• Master's degree in Social Work or related field is strongly preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in community service or non-profit work

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
