Job Description

We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Investment Banking Analyst to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you will support major transactions by conducting market research, financial modeling, and crafting pitch presentations. The ideal candidate is well-versed in financial analysis and has a strong understanding of investments and market dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial evaluations and prepare investment analysis reports.
• Collaborate with senior team members on strategy development.
• Draft insightful presentations for client discussions.
• Monitor and report on financial performance metrics.
• Engage in client meetings to discuss research findings.
• Maintain thorough documentation of investment processes and communications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics
• MBA or other relevant qualification is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of investment banking experience

Certifications

• CFA Level 2 or higher (Preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent
