Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team in Pretoria. In this role, you will design, implement, and oversee cloud-based solutions to enhance our operational efficiency and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Architect robust cloud solutions for scalability and efficiency.
• Provide support for cloud migration projects, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal downtime.
• Integrate cloud services and applications with existing systems.
• Establish metrics and benchmarks for cloud performance monitoring.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to upskill team members on cloud technologies.
• Facilitate collaboration between technical and non-technical teams to achieve overall business goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Additional certifications in cloud technologies are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud solutions and architecture

Technical Skills

• CloudFormation
• Terraform

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of serverless architectures: Experience deploying serverless applications using AWS Lambda or Azure Functions.
• Experience in hybrid cloud environments: Understanding how to integrate on-prem and cloud infrastructures.
