Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team in Cape Town. This role involves diagnosing and treating a variety of animals while providing excellent customer service to pet owners. You will work in a supportive environment, collaborating with a skilled team to ensure the highest standards of animal care.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose illnesses through physical examinations and lab results.
  • Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans.
  • Perform routine surgeries and emergency procedures.
  • Keep up-to-date with advances in veterinary medicine.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and their pets.
  • Lead community education initiatives on animal care.
  • Ensure compliance with animal welfare regulations and standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the clinic.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
  • Additional certifications in specializations (e.g. surgery, emergency care) are a plus.
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in veterinary medicine
