Job Description

We are searching for a skilled Civil Design Consultant to join our Johannesburg office. The successful candidate will play a vital role in designing and implementing civil engineering projects. You will collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders to deliver innovative and sustainable design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and drive design processes for civil engineering projects, from conception to implementation.
• Review project plans to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Provide technical support during project execution and troubleshooting issues.
• Enhance existing designs and propose improvements based on industry trends.
• Establish effective communication channels with multidisciplinary teams.
• Assist in preparing project budgets and resource allocations.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote sustainable practices.
• Document project phases and update stakeholders regularly.
• Lead project presentations to clients and stakeholders.
• Research and integrate new technologies into design practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of work experience in civil design and project execution

Technical Skills

• Revit
• MS Project

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
