Job Description

We are actively seeking a Structural Engineer to join our expanding team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in structural design and analysis, as well as project management skills. You will work on a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead structural projects from conception through to completion.
  • Utilize CAD software for design and drafting.
  • Conduct risk assessments and offer solutions to mitigate identified risks.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
  • Prepare and present reports on project progress to senior management.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
Technical Skills
  • Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
  • Structural Design Codes
