We are seeking an experienced Tax Consultant to join our office in Durban. In this role, you will provide expert tax guidance, prepare tax filings, and develop effective strategies to minimize tax liabilities for our clients. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client service by understanding their business and financial goals.
• Review tax provisions and filings for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and present tax strategy proposals to clients.
• Collaborate with legal advisors for tax optimization opportunities.
• Develop customized tax software strategies for client use.
• Analyze and report on the effectiveness of tax strategies.
• Stay abreast of global tax developments and trends.
• Engage in networking to enhance business relationships.
• Contribute to team training and professional development.
• Assist in the development of internal tax compliance procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
• Master's degree in Accounting is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in tax preparation and compliance
