Job Description

Join us as a Water Resource Officer, where you will be responsible for the sustainable management of water resources in Port Elizabeth. You will collaborate with stakeholders to implement effective water management practices that benefit the environment and the community.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and report on the impact of pollution on local water bodies.
  • Lead initiatives to restore and protect wetlands and river systems.
  • Publish research and findings in environmental journals.
  • Work closely with NGOs to promote public awareness regarding water issues.
  • Advocate for sustainable practices in water management at regional forums.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • Master's degree in Water Resource Management is preferred

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
