Job Description

As an SEO Specialist, you will be pivotal in driving our digital marketing efforts in Johannesburg. Your responsibilities will include conducting keyword research, optimizing website content, and analyzing performance metrics. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stay abreast of the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes.

Responsibilities

• Audit website for SEO compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop a comprehensive SEO strategy tailored to company goals.
• Manage and optimize Google My Business and other local listings.
• Facilitate training workshops on SEO tools and techniques.
• Collaborate with data analysts to optimize user experience based on SEO insights.
• Implement A/B testing to measure the effectiveness of SEO strategies.
• Engage with external agencies for technical SEO support as necessary.
• Communicate with stakeholders regarding SEO performance and initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing or related field
• Additional qualifications in SEM are an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in SEO, PPC, and digital marketing

Technical Skills

• Keyword Research Tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Keyword Planner)
