Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Sandton. The successful candidate will focus on bridging software development and IT operations to create robust, efficient solutions while managing cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize cloud environments for efficiency.
• Support the software development lifecycle through infrastructure automation.
• Engage in performance tuning and load testing.
• Collaborate closely with product teams for alignment on deployment strategies.
• Document processes and support knowledge sharing within the team.
• Implement configuration management tools for system configuration.
• Lead security initiatives to protect company assets in the cloud.
• Evaluate new tools and technologies for use in our infrastructure.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Master's degree or further specialization is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps environment
