Quality Control Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the required quality standards through thorough inspections and testing. This role involves collaborating with various departments to maintain consistent quality throughout the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate suppliers and materials to ensure they meet company quality standards.
• Assist in the investigation of customer complaints related to product quality.
• Ensure that quality assurance procedures are effectively implemented throughout the manufacturing process.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to drive quality improvement projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to uphold health and safety standards.
• Report findings to management and suggest improvements to enhance product quality.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Quality Management or related field
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a quality control role in manufacturing

Technical Skills

• Statistical analysis
• Root cause analysis

Certifications

• Lean Manufacturing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

• Auditing experience: Prior experience conducting audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
