We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Johannesburg office. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities

• Draft detailed structural design reports and presentations for clients.
• Utilize CAD software for design purposes and project visualization.
• Evaluate existing structures for potential upgrades or renovations.
• Participate in design review sessions and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster relationships with clients and contractors to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in engineering practices.
• Implement sustainable design practices in all engineering projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
• Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in structural design and analysis

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis
• Civil 3D

Soft Skills

• Leadership

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional
• Chartered Engineer (CEng)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in Revit: Hands-on experience using Revit for structural modeling and design.
• Experience working on large-scale projects: Familiarity with managing and executing large infrastructure projects.
