Smart Contract Developer

Job Description

As a Smart Contract Developer, you will play a key role in the development of our blockchain solutions in Cape Town. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create, test, and deploy smart contracts and decentralized applications, utilizing your expertise to drive the evolution of our technology stack.

Responsibilities

• Implement robust smart contracts and decentralized applications (DApps).
• Test and troubleshoot smart contracts to ensure functionality and security.
• Document smart contract development processes and create user guides.
• Assist in the deployment and maintenance of blockchain applications.
• Participate in client meetings to gather requirements and provide insights to optimize workflows.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in blockchain development and smart contracts

Technical Skills

• Solidity
• Ethereum
• Truffle Suite
• Web3.js

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Hyperledger: Familiarity with Hyperledger Fabric and other enterprise blockchain solutions.
• Knowledge of NFTs: Understanding of NFT standards and implementation.
