Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Logistics Coordinator to streamline our logistics operations in Port Elizabeth. The role involves planning and executing logistics strategies, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining inventory levels. You will collaborate with suppliers and customers to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the scheduling and coordination of shipments to ensure timely arrival.
• Implement best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service levels.
• Utilize logistics software to track and manage inventory efficiently.
• Provide support and training to junior staff in logistics processes.
• Prepare reports on logistics performance for management review.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain operations

• Inventory Management Systems

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
