We are on the lookout for a skilled Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing structures, ensuring that they are safe, stable, and adhere to building codes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise projects from conception to completion.
• Ensure compliance with national and local building codes.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals and cost estimates.
• Research and implement new materials and techniques in construction.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns in technical practices.
• Document project phases and keep records for future reference.
• Communicate with clients regarding project status and changes.
• Stay informed about industry trends and advancements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Master's degree in Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering

Technical Skills

• Structural Analysis Software (e.g., SAP2000)
• AutoCAD
• Building Regulations Awareness

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Languages
