Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing medication therapy, providing drug information to healthcare providers, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements while delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the dispensing of medications and ensure drug interactions are assessed.
• Provide patients with essential drug information and advice.
• Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare providers for optimal patient care.
• Contribute to the development of pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Ensure quality assurance and compliance with all pharmacy standards.
• Assist in managing drug formularies and therapeutic guidelines.
• Respond to patient inquiries and resolve any issues related to medications.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Postgraduate qualification preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in community pharmacy

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
