Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated First-Line Supervisor to manage cleaning staff in our Johannesburg facility. The ideal candidate will have a knack for leadership and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all cleaning protocols are adhered to and that the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily cleaning operations and staff schedules.
• Conduct inspections to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Assist in hiring and training new cleaning staff.
• Implement best practices for cleaning and maintenance procedures.
• Manage inventory levels and reorders of cleaning supplies.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed by team members.
• Foster a positive work environment through effective communication.
• Act as a liaison between management and cleaning staff.
• Document and communicate any issues to upper management.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate
• Cleaning or supervisor certification preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in cleaning and maintenance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
