Looking for an experienced Environmental Engineer to handle various projects in Johannesburg. Focus areas include conducting environmental assessments, designing sustainable solutions, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects addressing soil and water contamination.
• Conduct thorough environmental audits and recommend remediation.
• Evaluate and develop strategies for pollution reduction.
• Foster partnerships with local NGOs focused on environmental issues.
• Train junior engineers and interns on best practices.
• Manage project timelines and ensure deliverables are met.
• Research new technologies for waste management solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting or engineering
