Industrial Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Engineer to join our team in Bloemfontein. This role requires expertise in optimizing complex processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and be able to apply engineering principles to real-world challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects aimed at enhancing product quality and reducing costs.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production delays and inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with supply chain management to improve inventory processes.
• Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies in operations.
• Prepare and present reports on operational performance to management.
• Forge strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to foster cooperation.
• Assist in the development of production schedules and resource allocation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in process improvement or systems engineering

• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
