Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in civil engineering principles and practices, along with hands-on experience in managing construction projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects.
• Prepare engineering calculations and drawings.
• Participate in project meetings and provide engineering insights.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide training on best practices.
• Evaluate the environmental impact of projects and implement sustainable practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Additional certifications in project management preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in civil engineering roles with project experience

Technical Skills

• Civil 3D
• Hydraulic Engineering

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
