Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, administering medications, and working collaboratively with the medical staff to ensure the best patient outcomes. Your expertise will be key in assessing and monitoring patients' health status and facilitating effective communication between healthcare providers and patients.

Responsibilities

  • Administer personalized nursing care according to needs.
  • Evaluate and improve treatment plans based on patient outcomes.
  • Supervise nursing students and new staff members.
  • Act as a liaison between patients, families, and health professionals.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress.
  • Keep professional knowledge current through ongoing education.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
  • Record and report changes in patients' conditions to physicians.
  • Support community health initiatives and health education.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution
  • Experience in specialized nursing fields is a plus
