We are in search of a skilled Data Engineer to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data integrity and availability for analysis. This role focuses on leveraging big data tools to support business decision-making through insightful data analysis. Candidates should have a robust understanding of data warehousing concepts and a knack for problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields

• Apache Spark

Certifications

• Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
