UX Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a creative and analytical UX Designer to enhance our design team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will work closely with product managers and developers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences. Your role will involve conducting user research, creating personas, and designing wireframes for various projects. Responsibilities

• Design compelling and user-friendly interfaces across digital platforms.
• Conduct A/B testing to evaluate design effectiveness.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and design workshops.
• Measure and analyze user engagement metrics to inform design iterations.
• Enhance usability and accessibility of products through innovative design solutions.
• Contribute to the development of design patterns and guidelines.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Advanced degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design with a portfolio demonstrating past work

Technical Skills

• User Testing
• Usability Analysis

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Effective Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Animation Tools: Familiarity with tools like After Effects or Principle for design animations.
• Agile Experience: Experience working in an Agile environment will be advantageous.
