UX Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a creative and analytical UX Designer to enhance our design team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will work closely with product managers and developers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences. Your role will involve conducting user research, creating personas, and designing wireframes for various projects. Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and analyze user feedback to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to illustrate design ideas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop user-centered solutions.
• Perform usability testing and iterate designs based on findings.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UX design.
• Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on user experience best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Advanced degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design with a portfolio demonstrating past work

Technical Skills

• User Testing

• Effective Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with HTML/CSS: Basic knowledge of front-end development will be advantageous.
• Experience with Design Systems: Exposure to using and building design systems is a plus.
