Job Description

The Wet Silk Hanger will be responsible for hanging wet silk garments in a designated area for drying and preparing them for the next stage of the production process. Candidates should possess a keen eye for detail and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Arranging and hanging wet garments promptly to prevent quality loss.
• Inspecting garments for defects before and after drying.
• Following health and safety guidelines rigorously.
• Engaging in continuous improvement efforts with the team.
• Reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
• Assisting in inventory control of supplies related to garment drying.
• Contributing ideas for reducing waste in the drying process.

Advantageous

• Experience in a manufacturing environment: Previous experience in textile production is a plus.
• Knowledge of quality control processes: Familiarity with standard quality assurance practices.
