Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Cape Town team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the design and development of innovative mechanical systems. You will be responsible for conducting tests, performing calculations, and collaborating with other engineering disciplines to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute testing plans for mechanical systems.
  • Collaborate with electrical and civil engineers on multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Review and revise engineering documentation as necessary.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in engineering projects.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies.
  • Contribute to R&D initiatives to develop new products.
  • Assist with training and onboarding of new team members.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree in Engineering Management is desirable
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
