Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service. A strong understanding of pharmacology and attention to detail will be crucial in this role.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications.
• Assist with the management of pharmacy inventory and supply chain.
• Provide information to patients about prescriptions and over-the-counter products.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of pharmacy workspace.
• Document and report any medication errors or adverse reactions.
• Participate in continuous education and training programs.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
• Assist in the development of pharmacy health programs.
• Provide feedback to improve pharmacy operations and services.

Requirements

Education

• Matriculation certificate or equivalent
• Pharmacy Technician qualification preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting
