Mobile Developer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Mobile Developer to join our vibrant team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications that engage users and enhance their experience. You will collaborate with UX/UI designers and other developers to integrate new features and maintain application performance.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for mobile applications.
• Perform market research to determine user needs and preferences.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate mobile applications with backend services.
• Help maintain documentation for application features and functionalities.
• Mentor junior developers and share best development practices.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for new app features.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Preferred certification in mobile development

Experience

• 3+ years in mobile software development, preferably with both iOS and Android platforms

Technical Skills

• Java

Certifications

• Google Mobile Development Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Cloud technologies: Experience with APIs and cloud services for mobile application integration.
