Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will utilize their skills to develop and implement tailored therapeutic interventions, focusing on improving the quality of life for patients recovering from injuries or managing chronic conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient needs using standard evaluation tools.
  • Design and adapt therapeutic programs to suit individual clients.
  • Engage in direct patient care and follow up on concerns.
  • Consult with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
  • Provide training to patients on the use of adaptive equipment.
  • Evaluate and document patient progress toward goals.
  • Foster a supportive and encouraging environment.
  • Participate actively in continuing education and professional development.
  • Maintain a high standard of practice in line with ethical guidelines.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Master's degree in related field is preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in occupational therapy with a focus on rehabilitation
