Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Production Team Leader to manage and oversee the operational activities within our Johannesburg factory. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, ensuring high levels of productivity and quality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production schedules and workflow.
• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss goals and performance.
• Ensure all production activities align with company policies.
• Assist with recruitment and staff onboarding.
• Maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
• Evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Develop strategies for reducing waste and improving sustainability.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to resolve quality issues.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Manufacturing or related disciplines

Experience

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting

Technical Skills

• Forklift Operation
• Health and Safety Regulations

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
