Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality medical services to patients and maintain best practices.
  • Assess and document patient health status and history.
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care strategies.
  • Address patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and clarity.
  • Initiate referrals to specialists when necessary.
  • Stay current on latest medical treatments and technologies.
  • Facilitate patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Participate in community health initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical best practices and policies.
  • Support administrative processes within the practice as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent medical degree
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in general practice
