Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Geographic Information Systems Technologist (GPS Technician) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and troubleshooting GPS devices and systems, ensuring accurate data and exceptional service for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain GPS devices and systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Engage with users to provide troubleshooting support for various GPS-related inquiries.
• Test and calibrate GPS systems to ensure high precision and reliability.
• Produce detailed reports on GPS performance and usage.
• Work with technical teams to identify and resolve systemic issues in GPS applications.
• Provide training sessions for internal teams and clients on GPS technology.
• Document all procedures and support activities accurately.
• Utilize GIS software to support geographical mapping tasks.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss improvement opportunities.
• Continuously seek ways to enhance GPS systems and user experience.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Geomatics or Surveying
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in related fields is desirable.

Certifications

• Certification in Network Technologies (preferred)
