Job Description

We are seeking a motivated IT Support Technician to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first-level support to our users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. You'll be the go-to person for resolving technical challenges and will play a key role in enhancing user experience across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to IT support requests and provide solutions in a timely manner.
  • Assist in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing IT infrastructure, including network devices.
  • Ensure that all support tickets are logged and resolved according to established SLAs.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to enhance existing processes and improve service quality.
  • Conduct technology training sessions for staff as needed.
  • Participate in project implementations and IT system upgrades.
  • Maintain documentation for IT procedures and policies.
  • Provide backup support for IT projects and initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Information Technology or related field
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or a related role
