Job Description

We are looking for a diligent Financial Planner to become part of our esteemed team in Cape Town. In this role, you will evaluate client portfolios, set financial goals, and design investment strategies that best suit their needs. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of market trends and a knack for building long-term relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough analyses of individual and family financial circumstances.
• Design comprehensive financial plans addressing client goals and aspirations.
• Guide clients through the investment decision-making process.
• Assess portfolio performance and suggest improvements.
• Prepare and deliver presentations at client meetings.
• Research new financial products to stay competitive.
• Advocate for client interests in financial markets.
• Assist in managing firm-wide financial planning initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or another relevant qualification
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years in a financial advisory role

Technical Skills

• Portfolio Management

Certifications

• Chartered Financial Planner (CFP)
• Registered Financial Consultant (RFC)

Languages

• English: Fluent
