Job Description

As an Environmental Scientist, you will engage in research, analysis, and the implementation of sustainable practices. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and contribute to community outreach initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct comprehensive environmental assessments.
  • Gather and analyse environmental samples in the field.
  • Collaborate with scientists and engineers to develop solutions.
  • Contribute to policy development and recommendations.
  • Lead workshops and engage with the community on environmental issues.
  • Prepare funding proposals for environmental projects.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Evaluate and report on the sustainability of environmental practices.
  • Support outreach efforts to promote sustainability initiatives.
  • Assist in the development of training materials for staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • Master's degree in Environmental Studies preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental research or consultancy
