Job Description

We are looking for a Biodiversity Scientist to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will conduct research, manage projects, and collaborate with local communities to promote biodiversity conservation. Strong analytical skills and a passion for the environment are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive biodiversity research and contribute to publications.
  • Coordinate with teams to assess environmental impacts.
  • Enhance public awareness of biodiversity issues through community engagements.
  • Manage project budgets and resource allocations.
  • Evaluate and report on conservation effectiveness and areas for improvement.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Conservation Biology, or similar
  • Master’s degree preferred
Experience
  • 5 years of experience in ecological research or conservation management
