Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law and will help guide our legal strategy, ensuring compliance with regulations and safeguarding our interests.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare legal documents and contracts.
• Advise management on legal rights and obligations.
• Assist in regulatory compliance and corporate policies.
• Represent clients in negotiations and mediations.
• Provide training to staff on legal topics as needed.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the company.
• Support the legal team with administrative duties.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB)
• Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• 5-7 years of relevant legal experience
