We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our thriving practice in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to animal health and welfare, with a strong ability to perform various surgical procedures and manage a diverse caseload of pets.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat a variety of animal species, focusing on preventative medicine.
• Perform surgeries, including spaying, neutering, and more complex procedures.
• Provide emergency care as needed during practice hours.
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient care.
• Build strong relationships with clients for ongoing care and advice.
• Participate in community outreach to promote animal welfare.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Specialist qualification is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of clinical experience in veterinary surgery
