Public Health Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a Public Health Analyst to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing health data to inform public health policies and initiatives. You will work closely with healthcare providers and community stakeholders to develop effective health programs that address the needs of diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Utilize statistical software to analyze health data.
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams to develop strategic health initiatives.
• Create presentations to communicate health findings to diverse audiences.
• Assist in grant writing to secure funding for public health projects.
• Research best practices in public health for program development.
• Act as a liaison between health services and community partners.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related discipline
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of practical experience in public health analysis or research

• Epidemiological Methods
• SPSS or R Statistical Software

Certifications

• Advanced Public Health Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
