Public Health Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a Public Health Analyst to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing health data to inform public health policies and initiatives. You will work closely with healthcare providers and community stakeholders to develop effective health programs that address the needs of diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze epidemiological data to support decision-making in public health.
• Engage with community members and organizations to gather insights on health needs.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on health indicators and outcomes.
• Support the design of surveys and evaluation tools.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of health initiatives.
• Provide technical assistance in research and program implementation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related discipline
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of practical experience in public health analysis or research

• Epidemiological Methods
• SPSS or R Statistical Software

Certifications

Languages

• English: Fluent
