Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations of pets to assess health.
• Diagnose illnesses and develop treatment plans.
• Perform surgeries and minor procedures as required.
• Prescribe medications and provide follow-up care.
• Educate clients on nutrition, behavior, and preventive care.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work collaboratively with other veterinary professionals.
• Participate in community outreach and pet health camps.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc)
• Registered with the South African Veterinary Council

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in veterinary practice
