Senior Tax Consultant

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Senior Tax Consultant who will be responsible for delivering top-tier tax consulting services to our clients in Pretoria. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of current tax legislation and will be able to provide insightful advice to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities regarding client's tax positions.
• Provide assistance with IRS and other taxation authority interactions.
• Ensure all records are maintained in compliance with applicable legislation.
• Participate in developing internal policies regarding tax compliance and accounting.
• Conduct client assessments to identify needs for tax services and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Taxation, Accounting, or related field
• Master's degree in Taxation or a related field preferred

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in tax consulting with client-facing responsibilities

Technical Skills

• International Taxation
• Tax Risk Management

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Client Relationship Management

Certifications

• Master Tax Advisor (MTA)
• Certified Financial Planner (CFP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
