We are seeking a highly-skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will have experience in software testing methodologies and a passion for ensuring software quality. Your role will involve creating and executing test plans, identifying defects, and ensuring that our software meets the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute manual and automated test cases based on requirements.
• Report bugs and verify fixes by collaborating with the development team.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and set benchmarks.
• Identify areas for improvement in testing processes.
• Provide mentoring and training for junior QA team members.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in QA.
• Assist in the development of user acceptance testing strategies.
• Utilize testing tools to streamline testing processes.
• Work cross-functionally to enhance software quality.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Relevant QA certifications are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance
